“Who’s” going strong in the charts? BTS Jimin!

Months after its initial release, Jimin’s solo single “Who” is proving its staying power in the competitive world of American music charts.

Originally dropped in July as part of his debut solo album “Muse,” the song quickly became a fan favorite, debuting at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and rising to become one of the biggest solo hits from any BTS member.

And as of Dec. 14, the track has made an impressive return, climbing back up to No. 47 on the Hot 100—an amazing feat considering it has already spent 20 consecutive weeks on the chart.

The song now stands alongside PSY’s iconic “Gangnam Style” as the only K-pop solo songs in history to achieve such longevity on the Hot 100.

Moreover, the song’s success is not only measured by its position on the Hot 100 but also by its consistent performance across multiple Billboard charts.

India, the world’s second-largest consumer of gold jewelry, cut the import tax on gold in July to six percent from 15 percent, sparking a significant increase in appetite for gold jewelry, bars, and coins.

A positive CI means the optimists outnumbered the pessimists. The BSP said such an upbeat outlook stemmed from households’ expectations of salary hikes and additional sources of income.

In addition to its climb on the Hot 100, “Who” has gained traction on other important charts. According to Forbes, the song moved from No. 56 to No. 47 on the Hot 100 and jumped from No. 43 to No. 35 on the Streaming Songs list.

Its momentum also saw it re-enter the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 13, marking its seventh non-consecutive week on the list.

The success of “Who” is also reflected in the increasing sales figures, with the song selling over 2,400 copies last week, a nearly 50 percent increase from the previous period.

With “Muse” maintaining a strong presence on the Billboard 200, having spent 20 weeks on the chart, Jimin’s album continues to solidify his place as one of the top solo artists in K-pop.
